The European Commission received an award for a GALIGEO project

The Directorate General Energy and Transport received the Special achievement in GIS, SAG, for a project using WebiGeo software with an Esri Arcgis 9.3 technology. WebiGeo permits the European Commission to consult two databases with only one program. WebiGeo improves reporting documents proposing mapping tools to understand the different geographic rates better.

The French National Observatory of Delinquency (OND) launched "Cartocrime"

                             

The French National Observatory of Delinquency (OND) launched “Cartocrime” on April 29th.
Cartocrime is an application built by GALIGEO based on ESRI technology.
This Website is to be “the first general public focused cartographic solution for information on delinquency”. For each French department, it is now possible to view the number of thefts, robberies or homicides on a monthly basis.

IDPH has selected GALIGEO and its software for “Geo Business Intelligence”, WEBIGEO, to map its data coming from Business Object. The application now enables:

• The observation of disease over several years

• The geographical representation of epidemiological cases

• An easier communication between Health Authorities and the public.

 WEBIGEO bridges the gap between SAP BusinessObjects, a powerful query tool and a Geographic Information System (GIS) in a secure intranet environment offering a comprehensive analysis of large amounts of geographic data.
