Webigeo at a glance
- Available services, according to the user rights (defined in the BI security repository), allow users to create queries in an intuitive way within the SAP BusinessObjects or the Cognos query panel and to publish those queries in the corporate document repository to make them available for other users.
- Galigeo wizard gives the user the ability to define the type of thematic analysis he/she wants to use: Ranges, Individual values, Pie-charts, Bar-charts, Proportional Symbols, and Flows
- Galigeo enables to interact with the map with functions such as: zoom in/out, pan, map tips, layer information, map layer object selection by position, circle, and polygon
- Selection map layer features to filter the data in the current or other BI reports is available. Users are able to save these as geospatial reports to re-filter reports as new data is acquired
- It is also possible to use custom hot-spots, point clustering, center of gravity and interpolation to further analyze BI data on the map.
Webigeo is composed of 3 modules
- Administration Console is required to map joint metadata between BI and Geographic Information System (GIS), manage super users and administrate applications and geo reports,
- Author is in charge of dynamically embedding maps in existing reports, relying on security provided by Business Intelligence tools. This profile is used to define data exchange and configure mapping visualizations,
- Geo Report enables users to select map layer features to filter the data in the current or additional BI reports.
