The user of Galigeo for Power BI acknowledges having read this legal notice and undertakes to comply with it.

 

What information is collected by Galigeo for Power BI Custom Visual and how is it used?

Galigeo for Power BI relies on the Galigeo Platform, which can be apprehended as the back-end of the solution, and which can be either available from Galigeo Cloud, or deployed on-premise at the customer infrastructure.

If Galigeo Platform is deployed on-premise, no data at all is collected by Galigeo.

If Galigeo Platform relies on Galigeo Cloud, different data and information will be stored by Galigeo:

  • Username connected to Microsoft Power BI in the case Azure AD is used

  • Metadata associated to the dataset used by Galigeo for Power BI, such as column names

  • Geodata in flat-file format (such as shapefile), in the case where the user choses to import it into Galigeo for Power BI

  • Number of connections by users and simulatenous connections to comply with Galigeo license policy

Galigeo customers of the solution Galigeo for Power BI have access to dedicated organizations within Galigeo Cloud, accessible only to themselves, to manage which data is stored.

Some  Galigeo for Power BI features rely on third-party services. These features include : basemap, isochrony, geocoding. Galigeo cannot be taken into responsability if the third-party services used are collecting data.
