Mr. Tapia-Stocker graduated with an MS in Artificial Intelligence (AI) from the University of Illinois. His technical and entrepreneurial background can be summarized as follows. In 1985 he joined Cognitech, an AI start-up in France, to deliver some of the first operational expert systems to pension funds. With colleagues in 1989, he founded Ingenia, one of the first French companies specializing in Object Oriented technologies applied to business problems. In 1992, he launched FircoSoft, which has since become the world leader in bank payment message filtering. In 2000, he helped found Sword Group, later taken public and grew to €250M in revenue in 2006. In 2006, he left Sword to found Avantias, an international company specializing in ECM, which was then acquired by Cap Gemini in 2011. Since 2006, together with the Galigeo team, Christian as CEO has been breaking new technological and business ground in Location Intelligence.
Sébastien is a co-founder and CTO of Galigeo and has over 15 years of expertise in Business Intelligence and Location Intelligence. Prior to co-founding Galigeo, Sébastien spent 2 years as a GIS project manager at Nestlé Waters and 5 years as an international IT consultant at France Telecom Orange to design and deliver Location Intelligence solutions for geomarketing surveys, network planning, roll-outs and optimizations. Sébastien holds an engineering degree in environmental and life sciences from French National School of Agronomy (SupAgro Montpellier) and graduated from France Telecom Internal Business School in 2001.
Philippe Franchet currently provides operational management at Galigeo . He has 20 years of experience in the software industry and services. Before joining Galigeo, Philippe was responsible for a competence center surrounding new technologies at Capgemini. Previously, Philip was CEO of Avantias. Philippe has a Specialized Master of ESSEC and is a graduate of the School of Engineering , CPE Lyon.
